HostWay is one of the world's five largest hosting companies with over 400,000 customers, and it is headquartered in downtown Chicago. If you have ever searched for a company to run your website, chances are you have come across HostWay.
HostWay currently has offices in Europe (London and Amsterdam), Asia (Seoul) and Australia (Sydney). It was founded in 1998 by a small group of people brought together by Lucas Roh. Previously, Lucas was a computer scientist at Argonne National Laboratory. He also worked as a software and hardware engineer at several companies including Tektronics and Hewlett-Packard. HostWay has never had any outside funding.
